In 2018 I took up drawing, only as an after hours past time, using a variety of mediums. I eventually fell in love with the textures and effects of soft pastels and was hooked.
When I lost my full time employment I took up art full time in 2021, combining my greatest passion of animals with my art.
I am dedicated to connecting and capturing each animal’s unique character and expression through my art. Conservation and education on the importance of animals are extremely important to me and my end goal will be to donate some of my income derived from my art to this.
For drawing I mainly use soft pastels, but am planning to try my hand at both acrylic and oil painting. I’ve also started sculpting again, using both polymer clay and earthenware pottery clay.
I will gladly accommodate any commissions, including pet portraits, as well as pet sculptures with the option of adding containers for a beloved pet’s ashes. And with a personal touch.
